Fondazione De Benedetti - Cherasco 1547

In pursuance of the conservation of Jewish assets in Cherasco, the Foundation has signed agreements with the Jewish Community of Turin, the B. and A. Terracini Archive of Jewish Traditions and Customs, and the CoopCulture, aimed at:

·         Opening of the Cherasco synagogue, the old school room, and a part of the ghetto to the public. This initiative was launched in August 2002;

·         Display of the photo exhibition by Giorgio Avigdor "Jewish Life and Culture" in ghetto rooms which once belonged to the De Benedetti family;

·         Supervision of the Jewish Cemetery of Cherasco.
